| Q. | What’s the difference between a Full Membership and a Captain’s Membership? |
| A. | If you own the boat or lodging, you fit in the Full Membership dues category. If you run a boat for an owner, you fit the Captain category. Either category entitles you to vote. |
| Q. | Does a Full Member choose to pay either the per-boat or per-lodging unit cost? |
| A. | No, you pay on what you have. If you have both, you pay on both; if you have just one or the other, you pay just on that. This approach allows any charter fishing business to pay according to their scale and their stake in the outcomes. |
| Q. | Who can be an Associate Member? |
| A. | Anyone who wants to support SEAGO but is not directly engaged in charter fishing. The Associate memberships are for B&B's, tackle stores, fuel vendors, restaurants – all who support our vision of a predictable, sustainable contribution to Alaska’s economy. |
| Q. | Why the two levels of Associate dues? |
| A. | SEAGO wants all its allies to lend support. Two levels of dues allow businesses and individuals to select the right level of support. |
| Q. | Can SEAGO guarantee the best results over the next 12 months? |
| A. | No. What we can guarantee is Henry Mitchell and our board will work tirelessly toward our goals. We can guarantee that inaction will get us more of same old bad results. |
| Q. | Why are the dues so expensive? |
| A. | They’re not. The key question is: how much will a perfect storm of bad regulations will cost you? Our dues are the minimum it takes to put a real professional on the ground everyday in Alaska, build a communications network, travel to the meetings, and get results. |
| Q. | How do I know my opinion will be heard? |
| A. | SEAGO has an open decision process. Our board will have members from every area of Southeast. We want your input and your help. Any member can attend or call in to a board meeting. We will communicate with our members often. |
